Martha Elaine Guthrie

Age 76, a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at her home. She was born September 29, 1943 in Barry County, Missouri, the daughter of Walter Marion and Velma Elaine (Shelley) Terry.

Mrs. Guthrie received her education from Purdy Missouri School District.
On August 29th 1980, she was united in marriage to Jessie Keith Guthrie in Jay Oklahoma. Mrs. Guthrie was a dedicated employee of Tyson Foods and retired with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed bird watching, gospel music, a good tv show and dessert. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she took her job as a grandmother very seriously. She would have your favorite meals prepared when you arrived and always ready to listened with an open and understanding ear. Mrs. Guthrie was an extraordinary wife, mother, and grandmother and her devotion to her family was selfless and steadfast.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son Edward Ray Greek, three siblings Melvin Terry, Willard Terry and Charlett Pratt, one grandson Clinton Bailey, one stepson Bill Guthrie, one step brother Paul Smith and one step granddaughter Tara Wilson.

Survivors include her husband Jessie Keith Guthrie; three sons Danny Greek, Russell Greek and Randy Greek and his wife Barbara; two daughters Debbie Keeling and her husband Robert, and Beverly Robbins; one step daughter Debbie Guthrie; three half brothers Ronnie Smith, Frank Smith and Fred Smith; three step brothers Noel Smith, Jack Smith and John Smith; five grandchildren Jessica Greek, Billie Greek, Brooklyn Keeling, Chloe Keeling and Dillon Foshe; seven step grandchildren Jason Wilson, Mindy Singleton, Whitney Keeling, Christina Reandeau, Ronda Hayes, Toni Griffith, Lynn Guthrie and Tony Guthrie; and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion.
