Obituary
Our loving mom, granny, sister and aunt went to be with her Heavenly Father after a battle with lung cancer on April 7, 2013.
Linda Sharrell Smith was born February 25, 1949 in Madera, California, the daughter of Charlie and Jesse Branch.
Linda has one sister, Janice Korach (Terry) of Shell Knob, Missouri; two children Burl Smith (Nancy) and Michelle May both of Prairie Grove; seven grandchildren, Whitney Smith, Heather (Smith) VanOrden, Garrett Smith, Kailey Jo Smith, Jessica Smith, Weston Smith, and Trevor May; two great grandchildren Mya VanOrden and Kayden Tucker.
Linda loved family, friends and holidays, especially Christmas. Linda was a fantastic cook and loved cooking for her family. Other hobbies included sewing, playing the piano, singing, ceramics and macrome.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. before the service.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday April 13, 2013 5:00 P.M. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Weston Smith, Trevor May, Austin McCullough, Del Smith, Patrick Van-Orden, J.R. Graden, and Nelson Tucker
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Duane Smith, Garrett Smith, Stevie McCullough, Terry Korach, Kevin Bowling, and Darin Proctor

All though I only knew you for a few short months, I came to know you as a dear friend. We shared your wants and desires, your needs and your prayers. You prayed for peace and to be pain free & God answered those prayers. You are free from pain & suffering and are now at peace. You will be missed and I look forward to the day when we will once again be together to share.
