Obituary

Lee Allen Kruse

Age 70, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born March 10, 1949 in Moberly, Missouri, the son of Emory and Laverna (Burton) Kruse.

Lee graduated from Prairie Grove High School in 1967. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1971. He retired from Campbell Soup Research and later from the Farmington Public Schools.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and the many friends he had made over the years and attending the Farmington sporting events. He also enjoyed his time as an Arkansas Game and Fish Hunter Education Instructor.

He was preceded in death by his father Emory Kruse and one infant sister Vicki Kruse.

Survivors include his daughter Misty Reeves and her husband Patrick Reeves; three grandchildren Hannah, Sarah and Emma; his mother Laverna Kruse; five brothers Richard Kruse and his wife Janie, Gary Kruse, Billy Kruse, Mark Kruse and Dennis Kruse; three sisters Connie Marrs, Donna Logsdon and Nancy Hudson; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 6, 2019, 3:00-4:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 7th, 2019, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, Military Honors will be held at the Cemetery.

I attended school with Lee Allen for 12 years. I think that I can speak for many of our classmates when I say because of the type of person that Lee Allen was, he will always have a special place in our hearts. We will miss him.
