John Allen Feltner

73, of Kingdom City passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Ashland Healthcare.

He was born in Harrison, Arkansas on October 29, 1947, to the late Lawrence “Jack” Feltner and the late Amanda (Young) Feltner.

On July 15, 1967, John was united in marriage to Marquetta (Self) Feltner who survives his passing.

John was employed at Merck and Company Research Farm, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He loved to restore antique tractors and was a founding member of the Two Cylinder Club and the Antique Tractor Drive. He also loved gardening, traveling, and Arkansas Razorbacks football. His family holds many fond memories of times spent at the lake skiing with his boys. John never met a stranger and loved to visit with everyone.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Marquetta; sons, Eric Feltner (Tristin) of Fayetteville, Ar., Aaron Feltner of Columbia, and Jeremy Feltner of Columbia; brother Jeff Feltner (Belinda) of Prairie Grove Ar.; sisters, Julia Rose Fields of Sapulpa, Ok., and Mary Jo Coombes-Atkins (Tom) of Greenville, Ms.; brothers-in-law, Adrian Self (Tresa), and Kelvin Self (Gaylene), all of Stillwater, Ok.; granddaughter, Kylie Feltner; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the Illinois Chapel Cemetery, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Pastor Tom Atkins officiating. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
