Tributes

Gary, Bev, Deedee and Family, Am so sorry to hear of Janie's passing. I have many fond memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at your house as do Hayley and Justin. Over the years she was just so kind and nice to me, when I worked for the Farmington PD she was always very supportive. Years later I would see her at Walmart and we always managed to play catch up which ended in a big hug. I know how much she enjoyed family reunions, She is no doubt enjoying one in heaven with your Father, Gracie and Sue, Granny and Pappy Buck, little Tara and the rest of the family. She will be missed so much, what an impact she had on so many lives in Farmington. We are all blessed for having known her. I pray that God comforts you and gives you peace as you grieve the loss of your wonderful Mother.

I am quite stunned and hugely sad right now.Janie always kept in touch with my mother until she died, and then faithfully called me multiple times a year. I had her on my list to call her, as it had been a little longer this time since we had talked.I am grieved that i did not. She loved all of you so much, as i know you loved her.She was kind and gentle......and put me to shame with her ability to keep involved with the community and family. I will miss her terribly. With love and a broken heart, Emjy (Mary Buchanan Shiver)

Gary, Bev, Deedee.... Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families in this difficult time, yet-one in which we should find comfort and peace. Your mom was a gem, and a pillar of patience and love. I have such great memories of visiting you and swimming in the pool, and acting crazy around your house. All while your mother took care of whatever we needed, and seemed to have more patience than Job. We are all called to serve others and your mother was a model of excellence as she clearly understood what it meant to serve our Lord and others. What an example for us to take home, a great case study if you will. We love you all, and miss you much. Rick & Gina Brewer
