Obituary
Age 82, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 17, 2025 at home. She was born September 16, 1942 in Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of Lois Glen Bishop Mathews and Clifford Harlen Mathews.
Sue retired from Lincoln Consolidated Schools. She was a member of Lincoln Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jon Wayne Martin, her father Clifford Mathews, her mother Lois Mathews Finley, and her two brothers Bobby Mathews and Gene Mathews.
Survivors include one daughter Rhonda Freeman and husband Ken of Lincoln, Arkansas; three sons Jon E Martin and wife Amy of Lincoln, Paul Martin and wife Teresa of Elkins, and Carl Martin and wife Alicia also of Lincoln; two sister-in-laws Jerry Ruland of Prairie Grove and Shirley Spears of Cincinnati, Arkansas; nine grandchildren Blake Martin, Kathy Freeman, Dana Robbins, Brittany Martin and husband Camden Stallard, Randy Martin and wife Kirsten, Natalie Castaneda and husband David, Mikayla Martin, Corey Martin and Denise Bates and husband Josh Stair; five great grandchildren Rylie Martin, Nicolas Robbins, Lincoln Stallard, Makynzi Martin and Adilyn Martin; numerous nieces and nephews.
