Jackie Leon Niccum

75, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away November 12, 2014 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1939 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Jesse Abraham and Alta Mae Anglin Niccum.

Jackie retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Lois Conduff, six brothers Billy, Lester, Bob, Gene, Dale and Kenneth.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Peggy Niccum; two daughters Brenda Seymour and husband Kenny of Kearney, Missouri, and Bobbie Walker of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one brother Jimmie Niccum of Arizona; five grandchildren Kimberly Kline Bonham, Kelly Kline, Jackie Davis and husband James, Shelby Walker and Kyle Seymour; one great grandson Jackson Davis.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held at the cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Glisson, Mark Morehead, Jerry McDonald, and Cecil Fredrick.

Senior Chief Niccum, that's how I knew him in Memphis. He was a gentleman, a craftsman, a Seabee, and to me ... one of my top 3 mentors in life. To his beautiful family, I am so sorry for your loss.
