J.D. Kirk
90, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away December 11, 2006, at Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born December 10, 1916, at Summers, Arkansas, the son of Robert Lee and Ruth Martin Kirk.
J.D. was one of the founders of the Lincoln Riding Club. He was a perpetual member of the Lincoln Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Samuel A. Kirk.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Maebelle Kirk of the home; one daughter, Donna Higginbotham of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one son, Robert F. Kirk and Wife Doris of Chandler, Arizona; two grandchildren; Dewayne Higginbotham and Frankie Darlene Rhudy; six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2006 - 10:00 A.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with John King officiating. Burial will be in the Ganderville Cemetery Summers, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice.
