Henry O Rutherford

Henry O. Rutherford of Farmington, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 3rd , 2021. Henry was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on September 1, 1943, to Frank and Eulah Michael Rutherford and raised in Sheridan, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eulah, one granddaughter, Audrey Marie Rutherford, daughter-in-law, Melisa Tucker Rutherford, an infant sister, and two brothers, Mitchell and Walter Rutherford.
Henry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jennie Camp Rutherford of the home, a son, Ben Rutherford of Blytheville, Arkansas, a daughter, Janice Fulmer and husband Jerry of Paris, Arkansas, four granddaughters, Karen Danner of Williford, AR, Kristina Kaye Mitchell and husband Nathan of Van Buren, Arkansas, Ashley Dawn Fulmer and Brittany Marie Fulmer of Paris, Arkansas, great grandsons, Cody Myers and Oliver Luke Mitchell, brothers Joe Rutherford and Claud Rutherford and wife Sandi, two very special sisters-in-law, Peggy Belk and Shirley Wells and husband John, a host of nieces and nephews, and many other special family members along with a host of friends who were all very special to him.
Henry was a retired research pathologist with the Campbell Soup Company for 32 years. He was a farmer involved with 4-H and FFA and worked preparing taxes. He is a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church where he held the offices of Deacon and Church Treasurer. He is a member of Occidental Lodge #436 F&AM in Prairie Grove. Henry was also active with the Arkansas Mission Builders. He loved following all sports including the Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals. He especially loved watching his granddaughters play high school volleyball. Henry enjoyed working cows with his brother, loved checking his garden daily, and making his legendary sweet pickles.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
Funeral service will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 - 10:00 a.m. at Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas. Burial will be held at Farmington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital NICU unit in Little Rock, AR in memory of Audrey Marie Rutherford or Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Farmington.
