Gary Ross Benton

Age 70, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born January 10, 1950 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Ross Eugene and Vivian Earlene (Day) Benton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Michael and Danny Benton.

Survivors include his wife Lydia Benton of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one sister Freddie Burnett and her husband Harold of Farmington, Arkansas.

The family will have a private funeral service and burial will be in the Sharp Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Lydia, Richard & I were so sorry to hear about Gary. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Gary and his brothers & sister. Gary & Freddie were older and Mike & Danny were younger. I never really got to know Gary, but what few times we saw each other in later years, I always enjoyed talking to him. May God give you the strength needed during this time. Keep those precious memories of Gary close at heart and remember them often. Prayers of comfort to each of you.

I just wanted to tell you Gary was a great man.I'm sure you know that. He was always kind to me,as was his mother Earlene. I just found this and I had no idea that Gary had lost everyone except Freddie. I'm glad he found true Love with you. He deserved it, my prayers go to you. I know you miss him.
