Garland Eugene Ogilvie

85, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away November 7, 2007 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born October 16, 1922 at Harmony, Arkansas, the son of Joseph Marvin and Sallie Mae Wilson Ogilvie.

Gene retired from the United States Air Force after having served twenty-six years.

He was preceded in death by one son, Gordan Ogilvie and seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Kaye Ogilvie of the home; one son, Larry and Nelda Ogilvie of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one daughter, Rebecca and Herb Andreen of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren, Deanna Wicklund, Nicholas and Nicole Ogilvie; three great grandchildren; two step-sons, Barry and Luann Ridings of Fayetteville, Arkansas and David and Cindy Ridings of Tucson, Arizona; six step grandchildren, Lowell, Curry, Emma, Michael, Laura and Sarah Ridings.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2007, with the family being present from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2007 - 12:30 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with John King officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
