Edna Frances Gose Baggett
102, of Prairie Grove, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on May 16, 2018. She was born December 11, 1915, to George W. Gose & Katherine Henson Gose of Lincoln, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Prairie Grove High School and became a registered nurse working for many years with her husband Dr. Jeff Baggett. She was a member of the Prairie Grove United Methodist Church where she proudly served on many boards and committees. She served on the Prairie Grove library board for many years, and was a member of the Women’s Study Club. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary for the Washington County Medical Board, and an avid Bridge player where she was a cherished member of the Friday Bridge Club.
Surviving her is her daughter Karol Whitlock Zoeller of Little Rock, Arkansas, twin grandsons, Robert (Whit) Whitlock, wife Christi, great granddaughter Lynnley, and twin great grandsons Graham and Grayson of Hope, Arkansas. Jefferson B. Whitlock, wife Candice, step great granddaughter Laiken Gallucci, great granddaughter Ana Karol Frances, and great grandson Pate Whitlock of Little Rock, Arkansas. Son in law Charles Lytton of Prairie Grove, stepdaughter Sandra Long, her children, Suzanne, Steve and Stuart, and their families, all of Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Dr. Jeff Baggett, her parents George & Katherine Gose, brothers Robert Gose and Clifford Lester Gose, her sisters Bonnie Payne & Jessie Gose, her loving daughter Judith Kay Lytton, her son in law Robert L. Whitlock, and two step granddaughters.
Mammaw graced many lives over the past century and will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of celebrating life with her.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 - 1:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Interment will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. Graveside services will not be held at the cemetery.
