Obituary
Ellen Mae Beal
Age 80, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Arkansas Veterans Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born January 1, 1940 in Sunray, Texas, the daughter of Wallace and Edna (Pearson) McAdams.
She married her sweetheart, had three children and raised them on lots of love, great country cooking and common sense. She loved caring for elderly and always stopped to talk to babies. She cherished her grandsons, loved anything chocolate mocha and always had her lipstick on.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step mother Flora McAdams, three sisters Sis Manion, Lillian Thurman and Phyllis Allen Pierce, three brothers Bud, AJ, and Curtis McAdams.
Survivors include her husband of 62 1/2 years Doyle Beal; one son Alan Beal of West Fork, Arkansas; two daughters Nancy Elms and her husband Mark of Everton, Missouri, and Connie Miller and her husband Carl of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one sister Carrie Beal and her husband Lloyd of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; five grandchildren Justin Miller, Matthew Miller, L.J. Wade, Tiffany Holmes and Mark Elms II.
The family would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for the phenomenal love and care provided by Elite Hospice, and especially Melissa Henson RN, as well as the staff at Arkansas Veterans Home.

Nancy, Connie, Alan,
I’m thankful for Ellen being a part of my life. She would bake cakes and invite us to come visit. She always had such a humorous and positive life outlook. I’m thankful for all of you! I’ll pray for you to experience peace. I’m just thinking of Ellen experiencing her heavenly home and family now. May the peace of God be with you all.

Mrs. Ellen or aka: "Mama Beal" was such a joy to care for here at the Vets Home. Alan, Nancy, and Connie, thank you so much for sharing your Mom with our facility. If anyone ever needed a smile Mrs. Ellen could get the job done. She was such a joy to care for and I'll always remember her, her lipstick, and darling sense of humor. Praying for your family. Love and hugs.
