When I was growing up the Davis family was so dear to me. Roland and Edna, Greg and Alta and their kids were all very close to me. Mrs. Edna though was a gem. She was so good to me and my brother growing up. We always went to her house and got snacks. Especially all the goodies around Halloween it seemed we always ended up over there and being blessed! I ran into Mrs Edna a few years ago at the grocery store and it was as if time had stood still. She wanted to see pictures of my wife and kids and We got to hug and love on one another. I thank God for that day! I thank God Mrs. Edna was in my life. What a special lady! Pastor Zach Stachey

Edna was always so willing to help anyone in our community in need. I so enjoyed getting to know her when we were able to get the first Farmington Public Library started in 2006. She knew how important it was for the children in our community to have books available locally for them to read.

Edna was a special friend to so many. I was so happy she and my mom spent a lot of time together. She was a part of my life for a lot of years at their grocery store. Roland was one of my bus drivers in school. She made a difference in lots of lives. She will be missed by so many. My prayers and hugs go to her family and many friends that will miss her.

I will never forget Edna and Roland. I was nine years old when we moved to Farmington and was so scared to be moving. My dad made good friends with Roland and Edna and they immediately treated us like family. On my dad's death bed Mrs. Edna called my dad and told him that she loved him and they would meet again. Heaven gained a true angel. God bless the family because I know you will have a hole in your hearts until you meet again, and thank you for loving our family. Shannon Fraley Clevenger

Roland and Edna opened their store, home, life and hearts to the youth of Farmington. My softmore and junior years were spent at their home more than my own and I am eternally grateful for their love.

Edna and Roland were wonderful friends to our family (Chester and Lorene Stevens) from the moment we moved to Farmington in 1963. Edna gave Wayne and me our wedding shower in 1967 and helped us in so many ways. She was also a great friend to my mother after my dad died. She had the kindest heart and the most loving smile. We will miss her in our lives, but we will cherish all the good memories we have of her and Roland.
