Obituary
Dorothy “Cissie” Kalb Snyder passed away Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 at the Willard Walker Hospice home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Cissie was born July 23, 1922.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rae “Jerry” Spencer Snyder, her sons, Spencer and Buddy, and one daughter, Cheryl. She is survived by one son, Jerry, and his wife, Sue, of Kearney, Missouri, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cissie was best known as a WAVE during World War II and remained a member of WAVES National organization. She played a mean game of Yahtzee and couldn't get enough shopping. She loved to sew and crochet and her favorite colors were orchid and yellow.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at North Little Rock.
