Doris J. McComas, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, March 7, 2017 in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born July 31, 1927 in Karval, Colorado to the late Everett and Mildred (Hockett) White.
She was a retired cook and waitress in many restaurants and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Booneville. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and reading.
She is preceded in death by a son, Billie McComas; sisters, Vatetta White and Leona Godfrey, brothers, LeRoy White, Clifford White and Richard White; and a granddaughter, Michaele Miller.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with burial in Fall Creek Cemetery south of Prairie Grove (There will be no graveside service).
She is survived by her husband William “Bill” McComas of the home; two daughters, Joyce Clark of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Cindy Crook of Ranburne, Alabama; one brother, Virgil White of Herrera, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:00 P.M. Monday Evening at Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville

Tributes
Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences.
