Delmer Hunter Smith
84, a resident of Cincinnati, Arkansas, passed away March 2, 2008 at West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. He was born November 24, 1923 at Cincinnati, Arkansas, the son of Joe Harrell and Katherine Ruth May Smith.
Delmer was a WWII Air Force Veteran.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Pat and Billy Smith; three sisters, Mary Sue Smith, Nellie Mankins and Betty Joe Smith.
Survivors include one brother, Carter Smith and his wife Sigrid of Cincinnati, Arkansas; two sisters, Shirley Johnson and her husband J.D. of Weddington, Arkansas, and Margaret Wood of Westville, Oklahoma.
Visitation will begin Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2008 - 1:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel, Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with Jack Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery Cincinnati, Arkansas. No graveside services will be held at the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Cantrell, Jim Smith, Rick Smith, Jack Johnson, Jon Johnson, Joe Ross Smith, and Terry Smith.
