To the family of Debbie,
Debbie was an outstanding woman. She always made sure that she had a smile on her face and a laugh to give. We would stand outside and talk and joke and just enjoy the friendly female companionship. My children were always by the fence yelling for Miss Debbie 'what are you doing miss Debbie how come miss Debbie' and she never was annoyed and always answered every question the had. I will miss her dearly and will never forget the time I was able to spend with her. There will never be another Debbie, she is and always will be one of a kind. Love you lots miss drama Queen! And show them upstairs what real style is.

We are very sorry to hear about your tragic loss. It is so sad to lose friend or family, but for the parent to lose a child seems the saddest of all. I know your family will never be the same, but Debbie’s love will always be with you.

Debbie was more than just Dr. Cooper's nurse. She became a friend. She talked to us of camping, farming, grandchildren and made you feel like she was interested in you as a person - not just a patient to deal with. We were shocked to see her picture in the obituary column yesterday and realize that she was the lightening strike victim we had heard about on the news. We will miss her.
Joe And Virginia Simco - Patients At Cooper Clinic For Years
Debbie Jo, your smile and warmth will be missed. You touched many lives in ways you probably never knew. You shared your life with so many. I will always think of you with happy thoughts and am so grateful that I was lucky enough to have known you. Our thoughts and prayers our with the family.
Troy And Patty Reed - Family And Friend
Debra was one of my most favorite nurses and I hated to see her leave Dr Cooper's office. I visited with her on her last day there and gave her a big hug and wished her well.
She had told me that Dr. Cooper was wanting her to lose some weight and she said "Doc, I am a grandmother and I am supposed to be fluffy". We had a good laugh about that. Debra was precious.
Verda Winchel - Nurse
