Deborah Victoria McLeod Boyd
64 a resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away November 4, 2017 in Norfolk, Virginia. She was born March 1, 1953 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the daughter of Donald and Patricia McLeod.
She served in the U.S. Army as a Dental Technician where she received the National Defense Medal and various service awards. Through her lifespan she was able to experience travel through various parts of the United States from California, Idaho, Utah, Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Hawaii, and Virginia. She worked in various fields of service to her country and community as a Dental technician, Department Manager for Bruno’s, and Nurses Aide; where she was gratified in the work that she enjoyed.
She was preceded in death by her mom Patricia and dad Donald.
Survivors include brother Danny G. McLeod of Springdale, Arkansas; her husband of 25 years Robert K. Boyd sr. of Alabama, her two sons, Daniel R. Boyd of Virginia and Robert K. Boyd, Jr. Of Georgia, her niece Tammy McLeod of Texas, her nephew Donald McLeod of Texas, three grandchildren Rayshon Boyd, Ethan Boyd and Phoebe Boyd.
