Dave Peck (a man of God)
God blessed the world with the birth
of Dave Peck on July 9th - 1944
He lived his life with God's Spirit
he helped bring many to Heavens door
Dave's parents taught him
the important things of life
God blessed Dave with fine children
and a wonderful loving wife.
His courage and leadership
are noticeably seen
by the career he chose
to serve as a U.S. Marine
The talents, wisdom, and enthusiasm
given by God above
Were used for being an example
of giving and helping others out of love
Dave saw God in nature
as we all should
He involved his family in
fishing all that he could
Sometimes Dave came on
as being hard and strong
But his heart was big
and his caring was long
He didn't look for
glory and praise
His humility was seen
in his caring ways
We all have a purpose to be an example
so that Jesus others might know
Dave fulfilled that purpose by giving much
to help Christ's Church grow.
Of the many things he accomplished
her on this earth
The greatest may have been being chosen
by God to serve as an elder of show Gods worth
I have never met a man I could
call a better friend
I know if I needed him
he would be there to the end
We know most assuredly
Dave is in a much better land
Because of his generous heart
and obedience, he abides in God's hand
Thank God for Dave

RIP fellow Brother-in-Arms and Leader of Marines. Per the Marine Corps Hymn, the streets of Heaven are much safer now, since you have assumed the watch. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of an American Patriot. May the Almighty keep you in the palm of his hands, providing strength and comfort during this difficult time, and may OUTSTANDING memories offer solace. God Bless.
