Carol Rose Kehn Andrews
Age 86, went home to her Lord, on February 1, 2024, at the Fayetteville Clear Creek Memory Care. She was born October 28, 1937, in Norwalk, Iowa, the daughter of the late Charles A. and Rose (Teagarden) Kehn.
Carol moved from Iowa with her parents and six siblings to the Farmington area in the 1940s. She attended Farmington schools and graduated in 1955. In April 1956, she completed her Course of Study in Bookkeeping at Draughons Business Institute, Tulsa, Oklahoma. On November 24, 1956, she married the late Billy Keith Andrews in Costa Mesa, California.
After returning to the Farmington area in 1957 and raising the children, Carol began working outside the home at Sears and Roebuck Catalog Store, then Ozark Mountain Smokehouse, and the City of Farmington as the City Clerk. Upon retirement, she owned and operated the family resale and antique shop. Eventually, she began traveling the United States with friends and family.
Her enjoyment was eating out. Going to Golden Corral with her friends, Betty Moore and Yvonne Hutchinson, was always special. She loved her friends.
She is survived by her three children, Calvin Andrews and wife, Sheila, Farmington, AR; Cynthia (Cyndi) DePew and husband, Pat, Fayetteville, AR; and Sheri Holloway and partner, Ronnie Porter, Springdale, AR. Her 10 grandchildren, Nick DePew and wife, Michelle, Rogers, AR; Craig DePew and wife, Stefanie, Farmington, AR; Kevin Andrews and wife, Jackie, Prairie Grove, AR; Keith Andrews and wife, Karri, Prairie Grove, AR; Tasha (Shaddix) Pruett and husband, Benjamin, Catoosa, OK; Captain T.J. Shaddix and wife, Tiffany, of Stamping Ground, KY; Matt Farmer and partner, Jenn, Pea Ridge, AR; Ashley (Porter) Prendergast and husband, Andrew, Springdale, AR.; Chris Holloway and wife, Emily, West Fork, AR; and Keisha Richardson and husband, Barry, Centerton. She has 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, and bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Rose (Teagarden) Kehn, and six siblings, Merle, June, Jeanne, Russell (Rusty), Shirley, and Lois.
Luginbuel Funeral Home, Prairie Grove, Arkansas, will host visitation, Sunday, February 4th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the Celebration of Life will be Monday, February 5th at 10:00 a.m., also at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, there will not be a graveside service.
