Obituary

Bruce "Buster" Johnson

Age 86, a resident of Cane Hill, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at his home. He was born March 11, 1932 in Dutch Mills, Arkansas, the son of Jacob Benjamin "Jake" and Kate (Jones) Johnson.

Buster enjoyed playing the guitar and fiddle along with singing. He also enjoyed painting Native American pictures.

He was preceded in death by his wife Grace L. Johnson, his parents, five sisters Lillian Johnson Estep, Edith Johnson Kowalishen, Ruby Johnson, Nona Johnson Gartman, and Loretta Johnson Wright and two brothers Frank and Pete Johnson.

Survivors include his son Larry Johnson and wife Michele of Cane Hill; one brother Kenneth Johnson and wife Elenor of Tulsa; two grandchildren Amber Hills and husband Adam of Saco, Maine and Marshall Johnson and wife Amy of Corpus Christi, Texas; two great grandchildren Julien and Alex Johnson.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 7, 2019, 6:00-7:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 8th, 2019, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held.

Tributes

Buster was an awesome man. He was very loved by many. Probably the kindest man I know. Life will be different without buster . he now lives on in Heaven.....waiting to see us all again someday . I pray for peace for busters son and daughter in law and the rest of his family.
