BRENT PAGE WILCOX; 59, passed away October 19th, 2021. Born January 5th, 1962 in Tulsa Ok. Brent was the son of Ronnie and Loretta Wilcox who still reside in Tulsa.
Who was this Loving Son? To start with; Brent was raised in a Christian family and attended Calvary Heights Temple before joining First United. Brent’s education was quite extensive. Graduated high school 1980 from Sands Springs. Received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from OSU in 1984. Received a Masters in Education from Northeastern in 1987. Fast forward: Brent received his Degree in Nursing from TCC, 2019 of which he was most proud. Sidenote: Brent had felt the calling into medicine at 25 and was able to complete this yearning before being called home to be with his Lord and Savior.
Brent used his extensive training to teach in several high schools & college. Brent also worked for Highland, Borden’s, Coca-Cola and Imperial.
Passionate Hobbies: Early in life, Brent enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. After playing, Brent became an avid collector. Baseball cards, autographs, photos with sports figures; now known as Selfies. Extensive Coca-Cola collection, along with visiting Hard Rock Cafes around the world. Enhancing this sports passion, came road trips with his dad; in attempt to eat a hot dog at each major league stadium park. Boston, NY, Chicago, KC, St. Louis, Atlanta, California, to name a few. Impressive on 2 levels. The desire to attempt this logistical and daunting task, and the desire this passion with his dad. Truly heartfelt love and memories.
The last few years were spent in the home he grew up in. Brent’s morning started the same. Adjust his breathing, start the coffee, wake his mother, and spend time together in daily devotion and conversation with Our Heavenly Father. According to Ronnie and Loretta, the most God felt moments of their lives.
In closing, Brent has a heart of service and building relationships. Race, color, religion, were not obstacles; but opportunities to spread the gospel.
Brent Page Wilcox: unique in his desire to make difference.
