Billy Howard Sergeant
71, a resident of West Fork, passed away July 15, 2016 in Springdale. He was born June 6, 1945 at Fayetteville, the son of Howard and Meril Ruth Brinson Sergeant.
Bill was a member of the West Fork Baptist Church. He was a life long dedicated volunteer. He retired from the West Fork Fire Department where he also was a First Responder. He served on the Central EMS board of directors for ten years. He was also a member of the Emergency Operations Center of Washington County. He was a past West Fork City Council member.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Tom.
Survivors include his wife Karen Sergeant; one son, Michael J. Sergeant and wife Kim of West Fork; His step father, J.B. “POP” Curtsinger; one step son, Avery Johnson and wife Colbi of Fayetteville; one brother, Joe Sergeant of Tontitown; one granddaughter, Krista Wood and husband Aaron; two great grandchildren; one step granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 - 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in West Fork with Heath Clower officiating.
