Rebecca "Becky" Faye Hudson
Age 70, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 surrounded by her family in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born February 20, 1953 in Rogers, Arkansas, the daughter of Willie Gene and Erma Gay (Webb) Robinette.
Becky worked at Sears for 18 years before retiring to spend more time with her son. She later went to work for the Prairie Grove Schools for 27 years, retiring in 2016 to be able to watch her grandson Reed. As evident by all that knew Becky, family was the most important part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years Sonny Hudson; one son Derek Hudson and his wife Teresa of Springdale, Arkansas; one grandson Reed Hudson; two sisters Renee Etchison and Rhonda Selby both of Springdale; four nieces and nephews Danielle McFatridge, Jacob Etchison, Monica Smith, and Jeremy Selby.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 - 2:00 P.M. at the Prairie Grove First United Methodist Church in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will no graveside services held.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Selby, Jacob Etchison, David Etchison, Heston McFatridge, Bob Downum, Chad Smith, and Randy Downum.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Prairie Grove First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1401 E Parks St. Prairie Grove, Arkansas 72753.

Becky was a dear friend…she had the best sense of humor, so kind and so much love for her family. When I read Galatians 5:22-23 “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” I think of Becky. I’m so grateful God allowed our paths to cross and the friendship that grew as we worked together. I’ll sure miss her. May God’s comfort and peace surround you.

We attended church with Sonny and Becky for many years and also knew her through school and civic activities. She was always friendly and kind we loved watching her with her grandson. You could see the love just spilling out and overflowing. Our prayers go out to all of the family.

Sonny, I am so sorry to learn of Becky’s passing. We worked together at Sears all those years ago and shared June 3, 1972 as our wedding day. She was a joy. My prayers for strength and comfort during this time.
