Obituary

Arbra “Dale” Triplett, 52, of Fayetteville, AR passed Friday, April 28, 2023 at home. He was born October 14, 1970 in Springfield, MO to Dennis and Connie (Garner) Triplett. Dale is survived by his parents of Kimberling City, MO, his wife Bridgette (Higgins) Triplett of the home, his daughter Rebecca Triplett of Akron, OH, two brothers: Curtis Triplett and wife Heather of Marshfield, MO, and their children McKenzie Moss, Cameron and Trace Triplett; and Brock Triplett of Dallas, TX and his children Ty and Brylee; five step-children Dr. Lauren Pachy; Scott Hendrickson; Brooke, Alexis, and Kelly Davis; a step-granddaughter Blair Whitehead; a step-grandson Vincent Pachy; former wives Cindy Selvey and Jonette Perisho; his canine best friend Rango; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son Cody Dale Triplett, and his grandparents Arbra Washington and Helen (Filbeck) Triplett, Dale and Ruby (Kaysinger) Garner.

As an Air Force brat, Dale moved from Missouri to Illinois, Texas, Colorado and spent 13 years in Germany where he learned to speak German. He graduated high school from Hahn American High and was always proud to be an '89 grad! He was lauded for many accomplishments including Homecoming King, 1st chair saxophone, Class President, and served on the council for the Model United Nations. He forged many friendships along the way and Dale never missed a chance to strike up a conversation with a total stranger and somehow make that person feel just a bit better about themselves.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and the Air Force. He was so passionate about serving his country and when he was flying in the C-130 you could hardly take the smile off his face. He was indeed "The Load" C130 Loadmaster extraordinaire. Dale was a brilliant author, editor, life-long learner, and was just a few months from completing his degree in history to continue his passion of teaching & molding the minds of our youth alongside his bride, 'Bridge' he so lovingly coined.

He treasured all of his friendships, old and new. He loved the outdoors and appreciated the beauty and wonder of all the creator has made. He was blessed with a beautiful voice and loved music. At a young age Dale led singing at church and throughout the years he sang when he could. Weddings, funerals, and you bet you could find him at a karaoke bar. He was also one of the funniest people you ever met, he was sure to bring a smile with his wit. He adored his Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Besides his honorable Military service, Dale had many jobs ranging from being the best waiter you ever had, driving long haul trucks across America, teaching, writing & editing. The 'Scribe of the mountain' was a master with his red pen. He knew so much about everything and was a source of knowledge we will all sorely miss.

Dale really was a jack of all trades and a master of...one. Love. He loved everyone. Those of us graced with his presence got to experience it, we are grateful for his time on this earth and saddened that we don't have him for another 52 years. May he rest easy in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Prost! to the Scribe on the Mountain who now looks over us from far above the mountains.
