Anna “Phyllis” Leach Sargent

97 a resident of Strickler, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2024. She was born February 6, 1927 at Cove Creek, Arkansas, to Henry Clarence Fox and Ola Katherine Kirk Leach.

Her hobbies included raising chickens and gardening. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed serving in her church and community.

She was a longtime member of Fall Creek Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and loved to perform in the Christmas programs.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Clinton D. Sargent, son John Paul Sargent Sr., three brothers Bill Leach, Jack Leach, and John Leach, sister Maxine Burris, and twin sister Lillus Evans.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim (Betty) Sargent and Tom (Debria) Sargent of Strickler, Arkansas; five grandchildren, John Sargent, Jr. of Strickler, Arkansas, Jason (Emily) Sargent of Owensboro, Kentucky, Cari (Mark) Burnett of Farmington, Arkansas, Libby (Wyatt) Wagner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Russall Sargent of Strickler, Arkansas; ten great grandchildren, Sierra (Bryan) Davis, John (Alexis) Sargent, Michael (Katie) Sargent, Matthew (Audrey) Sargent, Calloway Burnett, Wyndon Wagner, Weston Wagner, Mary Francis (Joseph) Boarman, Adaline, Fulkerson, and Sophia Fulkerson; six great-great grandchildren, Vivienne, Jackson, Hudson, Hazel, Giovanni, and Thomas; and a host of nieces of nephews.

The visitation will be held at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, on Tuesday, September 17 from 6:00-7:00pm.

The funeral service will be 9:00 am September 18, 2024 at Golgotha Biker Church (formerly Fall Creek Church) located at 14200 AR-265, West Fork, Arkansas. Burial will be in Fall Creek Cemetery in Strickler, Arkansas.
